Our volunteer docent team share its enthusiasm for the natural world by adding a welcoming and informative presence for visitors.
Docents are volunteers trained to enterpret our exhibit trails and whole nature of New England.
They use educational props and live animals year round, but mainly from may to October.
In addition docents assist staff naturalists with classes, leading tours and hosting hands-on discovery tables at community events.
