Signs of Spring

Today is the first day of spring! We have been asking our Facebook friends what signs of spring they have noticed and gotten some great feedback. We have noticed some signs of spring around the Science Center as well. Including:

• Our bears are starting to move around in their den
• Mud, Mud, Mud
• The snow and ice have melted everywhere except for the hidden spots on the trail
•  Red Maple buds are swelling as leaves get ready to emerge
• Our prolific population of chipmunks is starting to return
• Opening windows for some fresh air in our offices
• Red and gray squirrels are out and about
• More mud
