Field Trips at the Science Center

This spring we have had many schools at the Science Center for field trips. Whether walking the animal exhibit trail or participating in a program designed especially for your class, learning comes alive at Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. Thank you to all of the schools who have visited us already and the schools who will be visiting in the coming weeks.

Here is what teachers have to say about field trips to Squam Lakes Natural Science Center:
“This was an excellent field trip for us—met our curriculum goals, great timing for the trail, lunch and program, and excellent staff working with our kids! We are happy we can support the Science Center and will definitely be back!”
- Teacher at Beaver Meadow School
“The field trip is the perfect combination of physical exercise, hands-on learning, expert teaching and lots of learning. I always have to order an extra large bus to accommodate all the parent volunteers. They love ending the school year at [SLNSC] with their children.”
- Teacher at Barnet School
“I wanted to thank you for a fantastic program, and comment on the amazing presentation. All of the students, no matter what the age (and believe me, I’m including all the adults that attended in this statement), were enthralled by all the animals and learned so much. I can safely say that all of us came away with a renewed respect for the wildlife that coexist with us in this state, and an appreciation of our impact on their environment and what we may be able to do to help.”
