Blue Heron Students Help Support Cornell Lab of Ornithology

On Friday, May 25, Blue Heron School students at Squam Lakes Natural Science Center held a fundraiser to support the blue heron webcam by the Cornell Lab or Ornithology. Blue Heron students have enjoyed watching the webcam from eggs to chicks this spring. The fundraiser consisted of items including cards, pins, snacks - many made by Blue Heron students - and flower and vegetable seedlings. Laura Mammarelli, Blue Heron School Director, reported that the students raised $90.50 to contribute to the webcam. Great job Blue Heron students!
